Women's Confrence 2010

This year I got to attend Women's confrence with my mom and sister Lisa. It was so much fun. We also got to see some Lomita Ward friends. We attended alot of really good classes. It was really cold but it was beautiful. If I had to say something bad at all it would be that it was on the BYU campus. :)

Here are some of the pretty flowers that are all over the campus. To see the fields of these flowers just reminded me that our Father in Heaven loves us so much and wants us to have the best.

Family Time

I got out of work early one day so Vii met us up at work. First we took one trip around on the campus shuttle. "The purple bus", Nathan knows which bus to get on.

After we went to dinner and then to "Color Me Mine". We let N pick out a bank becuase his is getting to small.

Here is the almost finished product. This is what it looked liked before they fired it. Nathan had so much fun telling me what colors to get more of and where he was going to put all the colors. We had a great time.

A day at the Park

So after church we met up with The Marvive's and had a picnic at the Park. The weather was so wonderful we thought we would take advantage of it. We went to this great park in West Jordan. The kids had a blast. Nathan did not want to eat all he wanted to do was play. After they had played for awhile on the jungle gym/castle we went on a bike ride. Nathan loves his bike. He was showing off his balancing and speed. I am so greatful for the great weather.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

On Saturday we decided to dye Easter eggs. I saw in the Family fun magazine this really cool way to dye eggs with little kids so they don't get the dye all over and they don't drop the eggs. I went to Target an got some cheap wisks. then you put the eggs inside and then the children can dunk the eggs and no worries. What a great idea. It was wonderful. they each took turns with different colors, but by the second color they said "can we be done" well in the back of my head I thought sure becuase secretly I wanted to dye all the eggs. (He He He.)

Every year in the King house we would try and make the ugliest egg. We would dip it in every color and then again in certain colors that we thought would make it uglier. So we did that and it was really ugly but we thought we could get it uglier so we kept going and everytime it got better. Not what we were trying for.

Happy Birthday!

Just wanted to wish Vii a Happy Birthday!
I hope the man of my dreams has the best day and enjoys life.

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 11th Anniversary and like usual something always comes up and we don't get to do what we would really like to do...
This morning Vii had to work and I had to sew(with my mom's help) 8 lava lava's. Then we were going to quickly go get pedicures before Vii had to be at Slap Dance Practice with the Men from the ward at 5:30pm.

I know we were pushing the time but who cares. Well I was late finishing up the Lava Lava's and it was snowing, but Vii still wanted to get our pedicures done, so I quickly dropped Nathan off at Aunt Amy's and then picked Vii up. We got to the place around 5 and by 5:35 people were calling to see where he was. We finished about 6 and rushed over. Yes Vii did get white tips and I have orange toes.

They practiced and looked great. The performance was so good. They had so much fun. Good Job Vii! You guys looked great.

Halloween

So yes I am late on posting but i finally made the time. I think there should be some rule( don't know how it would be monitored but) that life should just slow
down and when we are not slowing down something should make us. Man its almost thanksgiving and i just finished putting all the Halloween stuff out. NEW LAW!!!! All holiday decorations should be kept up all year long. You know how much time it would save all of us and then we would not need storage and we could enjoy the beauty longer.
