It's Snowing, It's Blowing...

So on Sunday it snowed all day long. In the morning Nathan and I went out and shoveled/played. Vii wasn't feeling well so we did the whole driveway. Our nieghbor is so sweet and did our walkway for us.
After church and Nathan's nap we all went out and shoveled all the snow that had fallen. At first it was so cold but once we started shoveling the wind felt so nice. Nathan came out and he sat in the snow. He seemed to really enjoy just sitting there. Then our nieghbor came by with the snow blower and he thought the "waterfall" was cool. He wanted her to spray us and guess what, she did. He said "Mom, tell Fern to do it again." I must say it was pretty fun to get sprayed.
This is the only. I mean only good thing about Snow.

Happy Birthday Vii

On Vii''s birthday he had school. After he got home we went out to eat to where ever Vii chose. He chose Taco Bell. After we were done and we were on our way home Nathan helled out "wait, where is Dad's cake, we need cake) I told him we were not going to have any until Sunday. He was very disappointed. So it was already late and Nathan needed to go to bed. When we got home I put him to bed and went to the kitchen to dish up some ice cream for Vii's "birthday cake".(i know bad mom) So I put a candle in his scoop of ice cream and lit the candle. I was walking out of the kitchen and to my surprise Nathan had gotten out of bed to see what we were doing. He surprised me and I think I surprised him because he turned around real fast and started to run down the hallway to his room. Then he quickly turned around realizing I had ice cream in my hand and he smiled. "OK let's sing to daddy" It was so funny and I will never try and be sneaky again. I still laugh at his facial expression when he saw the ice cream and turned back around real fast.

Happy 12th Anniversary

I just wanted to tell the Love of my life that I love him so much.

I am grateful for the past 12 years we have had together. He is my best friend and Love of my Life. I am thankful for your love and friendship. I enjoy all the time we spend together and I am grateful for the our family we have. Without you my life would not be the same. Thank you and I can't wait to spend eternity with you.

Washington Trip

We were so lucky to take a quick trip to Washington to visit my sister and her family. We drove all day and got there by 8:30pm. Nathan did great on the way up. His new favorite movie is "How to Train your Dragon". He watched that and Monsters Inc.

One of the days we went to a friend of theirs and they had horses. Nathan was pretty excited to see the horse until... he saw the 4 wheeler. He did not want anything to do with the horse. He wanted to ride the 4 wheeler. He just stood there and drooled over it. I let him sit on it with the gear but he could not ride it.


He did play on the trampoline and got some pretty good jumps.

It was so much fun to hang out with the Janes's.
On sunday night we played games, told jokes and enjoyed each others company. When was the last time you just had old time fun. We loved spending time with them.
Thank you so much for the great vacation and the love your family showed us. We had a blast.

Trick or Treat

At nathan's school they had a "Character Day Parade" otherwise known has a Halloween Parade. Nathan kept telling us he was going to be Goose for Halloween. Then he wanted to be a dog like he was last year. Well I did not get the Goose costume made so I snuck over to my sisters and stole some of her costumes. He fell in love with the Monster costume. So he was a Monster(with or without costume he is). At school they go trick or treating around the office buildings and then they parade around in the afternoon for all the parents to see. He looked so cute. I must say I think he is the cutest Monster out there.

Then on Saturday night we went Trick or Treating in my Dad and Mom's area. It was cold and rain/snowy.

After we finished Trick or Treating G-ma had some fun games ready for the kids when they got back. They played BINGO, do not take Nathan to Vegas with you . He finally won the 10th round with Aunt Amy and Mom's help.

Nathan loves bikes. When ever dad gets home from school Nathan runs outside so he can sit on Vii's bike. He wishes he could ride it. He will say "I will put my helmet on and then I take the bike"

Tractor Man

So the Pumpkin Patch behind my mom's house opened up. Nathan gets so excited becuase the owner brings out all of his tractor's and parks them in the front for the children to sit on.

Thats all he cares about. Who cares about the Pumpkins! He just wants to sit on all the tractors. I am not sure if he has a favorite or not, he just loves the tractors. Vii and Nathan went over one night and he wanted to try them all out.

He was not happy when Vii wanted to take a picture with him becuase then it took him away from "driving" the tractors.

Kangaroo FUN

Today we got off work early and decided to have a FUN night. We picked up Lex and then went to the Marvive's to see if they wanted to go have some fun. We were going to go to Jumping Jacks because we were told it was closer, but it was no longer there. We felt bad for the kids for waiting so long. Then we decided to go to Kangaroo Zoo so they could have some FUN. They were off the wall. Non-stop fun. This is the trip to put your kids to bed FAST. Nathan and his cousins had a blast. We sat back and enjoyed the company and watched them have a blast.

A day at the Park

When ever Vii can he will come to school and pick Nathan up early. Today he picked him up early and went to McDonalds and had Ice cream cones. Then they went over to Sunnyside park by work. Nathan was having a blast on the playset. He had the whole area to himself. Then I got off a little early and suprised them. It was so fun to just hang out and play with Nathan.

After we played on the playset then he wanted to go swing for awhile. My favorite. I could swing for hours.

This is the Place

In September we went to "This is The Place park" with G-pa and G-ma. Nathan had fun walking around looking at all the cool things there. He got to wash clothes, pan for Gold, Ride a mini train and then Ride a train around the whole park.

Our ward Camp Out-Day Two

Nathan and Vii went and played in the water for a little bit. Originally it was to wash Nathan off because he was so dirty.
Then Nathan liked it so they played for a little bit.
We took a family picture by this really cool stump that Vii wanted to bring home with us. We didn't but I bet Vii would have. After we left camp we stopped at the local Monastery and had a picnic and hung out with some friends from the ward. Then we went into the store and bought some homemade honey and jam. It was pretty cool. As soon as we got back in the car Nathan fell right to sleep. He was so exhausted.

Our Ward Camp Out-Day One

Our ward had our Annual Ward camp on August 13th. We went up earlier this year. It was so much fun. We camped out by Huntsville, UT. The weather was great. We got the perfect spot to set the tent up. The little stream ran right behind the tent.

A bunch of us went to the reservoir and played in the water, Canoeing or just to watch. It was a nice little spot that was real calm. We had a blast canoeing. Nathan sat on the bottom of the canoe and put his hand out and played in the water while we went around the reservoir. After we were done in the canoe we sat on the bank and just watched. Nathan just wanted to play with the rocks and climb on the hill. He has no fear. Next thing we new he was almost to the top of the hill.Then went back to camp and had dinner and played games. Vii played ladder ball and nathan ran around playing with all the kids.
Then we all sat around the campfire and told jokes and just hung out. Nathan fell asleep on Vii's lap. He was so tired.

When we were in Colorado we went to one of my mom's cousin's
house and they had this old tractor on the side of the house. I took the first picture and thought it looked cool. Then I played with my camera a little and the sun setting made the picture look awesome. I thought these would look awesome blown up and framed.

Listening to stories of old

On Friday when the guys wanted to get a pre-golf tournament game in so we (Donna, Mom, Nathan and I) went to visit my grandmothers two sisters. It was so much fun to sit and listen to stories of my grandma and my grandpa. I can not believe how much they remember and the details of what they remember. I enjoyed being their and visiting with them. This makes me think of what my kids will want to know about me and what I should talk to them about now.

Colorado trip

We took a road trip to Colorado to see some of my Mom's side of the Family. They had a golf tournament so we were definetly going. We had fun and Nathan did pretty good on the road.
