Were still here

Sorry everyone who reads our blog. We have just been busy and life just sometimes takes over. We had a family reunion catching up is taking longer than I thought.
Nathan is getting so big and will be turning 2 in three weeks. It has been so fast. I have looked back at the past two years and I am so sad it has gone so fast. This picture is old but i saw it on my computer and i had to post it. He was so chubby and Kissable. Look at that boy.
Well he has a few new words that he loves to say... "awesome", "bicicle"(motorcycle), "Papa"(grandpa), "Kis"(Uncle Chris), "soccer ball", "sa"( his teacher Neusa), "ookie" (cookie) - which now his father has taught him how to eat an OREO. Last weekend Vii and Nathan had a moment of sharing OREO's. Vii showed him how to dunk it in milk then eat it. So you can only guess how many he ended up eating.

Kangaroo Zoo Trip

Shelley, Rey, Vii and I took the kids to Kangaroo Zoo. Shelley is visiting from Texas and wanted to take the kids somewhere fun. Nathan and the Marvive's came here back in February. Nathan did not like it at all so I prepared my self to sit and watch everyone else while Nathan ran on the side. Well that did not happen. Nathan jumped right in and loved it. He was everywhere. He even went on the big slides. He did not like those as much but he did it. He was a definite wild man.

True Art

Awhile back I was talking to my Mom about this artwork that the Pre-K class did at school. Then she saw the art work at our art auction we did and she liked it so for a surprise for their anniversary(kind of) we had all the niece and nephews that were there make our own. We took her pillow to Lowe's and matched the colors. When we got back we made sure everyone new what we were doing and if they weren't painting they would keep G-ma and G-pa out of the garage. Katelynn, Matthew, Allie, Daniel, Emily, Soren, Jake, Caleb, and Jonah all helped. Chris, Amy, Shelley, Lisa and I all threw in our little touches. It turned out awesome. We have got true artist in our family.
After we did this she had Chris make a smaller one for her bathroom. He was very creative and it looked like spilt paint with some fun splash. Man we have talented people in our family.

Happy Father's Day

Father's are great. I first would like to wish my father a Happy Father's Day. He is such a wonderful man and a great listener. Thank you for all you have done.

Now I would like to let Vii know how much I love him. He has been the best dad to Nathan. Nathan loves Vii so much. When we get in the car to come home he says "dad, where dad" and now he says "dad, vii" It is so cute. They plays so much. Vii has been keeping him home more lately because he can. he will either pick him up early or bring him to school late. Nathan loves it.

Thank you Vii for being the best dad that you are. You are awesome.

Aren't my boys handsome

Relay For Life

This year was our 6th year of participating in Relay for Life. We have participated in the Salt Lake and West Valley. This year we were at the West Valley Relay for Life. During Relay for Life your team walks on a track all night. It starts at 6pm and goes till 9 am. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. This year our team raised over $1,700 dollars. Our team was small but we had a great time. My family was such great support. Mom and Dad came out even though it was cold and started to rain. Then Amy came even after being at InstaCare. Then Sarah from work came with her sister to give us stuff to do and eat. You guys all are wonderful.
This year was Nathan's 2nd year. He walked 2 laps and got pushed around many more. He always rides in style :)

Thank you to everyone who helped me personally raise $180.
Thanks Danette, Christine and Audrey. You guys rock
