It's Snowing, It's Blowing...

So on Sunday it snowed all day long. In the morning Nathan and I went out and shoveled/played. Vii wasn't feeling well so we did the whole driveway. Our nieghbor is so sweet and did our walkway for us.
After church and Nathan's nap we all went out and shoveled all the snow that had fallen. At first it was so cold but once we started shoveling the wind felt so nice. Nathan came out and he sat in the snow. He seemed to really enjoy just sitting there. Then our nieghbor came by with the snow blower and he thought the "waterfall" was cool. He wanted her to spray us and guess what, she did. He said "Mom, tell Fern to do it again." I must say it was pretty fun to get sprayed.
This is the only. I mean only good thing about Snow.

Happy Birthday Vii

On Vii''s birthday he had school. After he got home we went out to eat to where ever Vii chose. He chose Taco Bell. After we were done and we were on our way home Nathan helled out "wait, where is Dad's cake, we need cake) I told him we were not going to have any until Sunday. He was very disappointed. So it was already late and Nathan needed to go to bed. When we got home I put him to bed and went to the kitchen to dish up some ice cream for Vii's "birthday cake".(i know bad mom) So I put a candle in his scoop of ice cream and lit the candle. I was walking out of the kitchen and to my surprise Nathan had gotten out of bed to see what we were doing. He surprised me and I think I surprised him because he turned around real fast and started to run down the hallway to his room. Then he quickly turned around realizing I had ice cream in my hand and he smiled. "OK let's sing to daddy" It was so funny and I will never try and be sneaky again. I still laugh at his facial expression when he saw the ice cream and turned back around real fast.

Happy 12th Anniversary

I just wanted to tell the Love of my life that I love him so much.

I am grateful for the past 12 years we have had together. He is my best friend and Love of my Life. I am thankful for your love and friendship. I enjoy all the time we spend together and I am grateful for the our family we have. Without you my life would not be the same. Thank you and I can't wait to spend eternity with you.

Washington Trip

We were so lucky to take a quick trip to Washington to visit my sister and her family. We drove all day and got there by 8:30pm. Nathan did great on the way up. His new favorite movie is "How to Train your Dragon". He watched that and Monsters Inc.

One of the days we went to a friend of theirs and they had horses. Nathan was pretty excited to see the horse until... he saw the 4 wheeler. He did not want anything to do with the horse. He wanted to ride the 4 wheeler. He just stood there and drooled over it. I let him sit on it with the gear but he could not ride it.


He did play on the trampoline and got some pretty good jumps.

It was so much fun to hang out with the Janes's.
On sunday night we played games, told jokes and enjoyed each others company. When was the last time you just had old time fun. We loved spending time with them.
