The Uigaese's go to the State fair

A couple weeks ago we meet up with the Marvive's and went to the State Fair. We have never been before so we thought it would be a great experience. FIrst we walked around and checked everything out and then went to the live stock area. We saw sheep being judged and then went over to where the cow's and sheep were. We got to see them sheer a sheep and then milk a cow. Very interesting. We also saw very obseen things from the cow's. I just had to remember "Everyone poop's". Then we went over to the food area and each went to different booths to eat. Let me tell you if you weren't poor before you were after. It was outrageous at how much everything cost. We ended up sharing alot. The rides were about $5-$8 so needless to say we did not get to ride those wondeful rides. Then before we left we walked through all the craft booths and things like that. It was fun. I think we would go again we would just be more prepared.

Nathan's 1st B-Day

On Nathan's actual birthday we took muffins to school and shraed them with his friends. Then after school we went to the Marvive's to help Amy pull out a stump and decided to just have his cake at her house. Nathan had an Oreo cake of course. Well he saw it, squeezed it, and then was done with it. He got good and messy.

Then we had a little party on saturday. We had blow up pools out and put rubber duckies in them. If you want to have a pool party at the end o f august i suggest you buy your small blow up pools early. We spent all morning calling places that did not have any left. Finally we were just going to ditch the whole idea and so we went to Smith's to get the food. When we were the there my wonderful mom sfound a small blow up pool in the clearance basket. What are the odds. So we called amy and told her to look at her Smith's and sure enough she found 15. She brought over 3 or 4 and we had a great thing. When it was time for cake Nathan was not real into eating the cake but he sure had fun making a mess of it, which i find more fun anyways. We had fun and he enjoyed playing with everyone. He put on a good show.
