My first Oreo

When i was in California I spent sometime with Vii's sister Montez. We had a great time talking. She was telling me about Vii when he was a little boy. So from what i understand when Vii was little their mom would go to the store and buy Vii his own pack of Oreo's. (spoiled little boy) Well we were eating Oreo's and Nathan was sitting on the counter watching. Vii handed him one to be funny and of course Nathan was not going to hold back. Nathan had his first Oreo. He first looked at it, then put it up to his mouth, and then devoured it. It was good and messy. He loved every moment of it and so did we. Mom especially loved the cleaning up part. The look on his face was so priceless.

My first Bath toy

Nathan loves bathtime, but he has no toys to play with. So we went and got him his first toy. His first toy he had was a cup so i don't think that counts. We got him a basketball set. He likes the balls, does not know what the net is for. That's ok because he loves the balls.

Tight quarters

When we traveled to California we did it in two days. We took a break half way. Coming home we decided to do it in one. It was long but we made good time. When we stopped in St. George to stretch our legs and just so happened the Outlets were right there. We let Nathan and Logan stretch. The others were still sleeping.. Amy got creative and made a play area for them in between the seats. They had a blast.

Visiting the Grave site

When ever we go back home we always go to see Vii's Mom, Dad and Sister's grave site. I took Nathan up there before we left. He was asleep when we got there so i woke him up. I did not want him to miss out on something special. He may never remember but this is a tradition we would like him to remember. He had wonderful Grandparents and an Aunt that we tell him about and he will know about them and the great people they were.

At the Beach

Everyone knows that when your from California you love the beach. Well Nathan might not have been born there but if i had my way he would have been. So he has to love the beach. We took him back in November and he was not to thrilled about the whole thing. So we tried and again and i am not sure if he has my blood. I love the beach so any child of mine should or will love the beach. Nathan has his own mind and does not seem to like the beach. Bummer for me now i am odd man out.

Spending time with Uncle Chris

When we were in California Nathan got to see his Uncle Chris. Chris is very social so Nathan was lucky to get to spend 10- 15 minutes with him. Nathan seems to really like him. I think he was showing off for him so he would stay around a little longer.

Playing with Grandma Great

We went to visit Grandma after church. Nathan tried to eat everything she had, watch, buttons and shirt. We hung out for awhile. Logan and Nathan had fun fighting over the same toy. Then they just had fun making a lot of noise. We was so much fun to get to see grandma and for Nathan to see Grandma Great.

Graduation party

We finally made it to mom's house around 6pm on Saturday. Sam (Montez's husband) graduated so they were holding a party at the Carson bldg. It started at 6pm. Mom, Dad, Nathan and I went around 7pm. No one new we were coming so we got to surprise them . It was awesome to see all of Vii's family. They are so great. Some of them have never seen him. We had a great time listening to great music and wonderful food. Thanks for the great party.

Driv'in in the car

This week end Amy and i took the kids to California. We started our trip on Friday. We left around 4pm and got to Vegas around 9pm. It was not a bad drive. The boys did great. Nathan threw up but nothing too bad. We told them to sleep and they slept. Nathan loves Jonah so much. When Nathan would start to cry we told Jonah to do make a noise and Nathan would just laugh. He is so funny. All Jonah has to say is any one word and he laughs. I have no idea were he gets that from.

Sunday at the park

Sunday's weather was so wonderful Vii, Nathan and I went down to Liberty park. Vii took the scooter and me and Nathan drove in the car. We took a light lunch and just hung out in the sun. Vii took a little nap and Nathan and i just hung out and watched people play soccer and frisbee. Then once the sun started to go down we headed home. It was an awesome day, very relaxing.

Vii went and got his helmet and goggles. They are pretty cool. Once vii left for work one day Nathan had a little fun. He tried on the helmet. It was pretty heavy. Then he tried on the goggles. The fit perfectly. :) I think he thought they tasted better than they looked.

Then Aunt Amy thought she could look as cool as he is. Don't tell her but i am not to sure the look is that good for her. Thank goodness she is already married because i think it would be over.

Laughter is priceless

Nathan and vii had fun playing on the floor one night. They were playing for so long then i thought i would video the fun. I don't know how anyone could watch this video with out laughing. If you need a "picker upper" just watch. :) i'm not sure who laughed harder.Dad, mom or nathan.
